Ladies 1st Team Secure Three from Three at Ladies' PLUM Tournament

Like the men, our Ladies' 1st Team spent the weekend at Lee Valley, and with a squad including many 2nd team players, secured three wins from three against some strong opposition... 

EG's first match was against Oxford Hawks which they came through with a 4:3 win.  Scorers were Helen Prinsloo, Jojo Blunt, Ellie Rayer and Georgie Blackwood.  The second match against Premier League side Leicester finished with a 3:2 win and goals for Ellie Rayer, Georgie Blackwood and Jojo Blunt.

The final match of the weekend, watched by the Mens 1st Team, saw our Ladies secure a 3:1 win against Sevenoaks with scorers Ellie Rayer (2) and Georgie Blackwood.

Head Coach Mary Booth thanks Helen Prinsloo, Taylor Weber and Eloise Richards as well as new member Laura Graham who came and helped the squad.  Overall it was an excellent commitment from the group and great team bonding for the first and second teams.

The Ladies 1st Team open their Premier League Season on Saturday September 23rd at 4pm against Holcombe at home.  That match is the start of a double headed with the Men also hosting Holcombe straight afterwards at 6pm.
