Match Report:
The 2nd XI got their league campaign underway with a gritty away win.
A poachers goal from Callum Mitchell opened the scoring but Tulse Hill hit back with a scrappy corner and an a deflected effort. The score was 1-2 at the break, however Callum Mitchell was able to divert a Will Arthur shot round the 'keeper early in the second half to tie things up.
The scores stayed level until 15 mins from time when Tulse Hill finished off a counter attack to take the lead back. EG pressure eventually told when Jordan Torrilla converted a short corner to the 'keeper's right and bring the scores level.
From the restart EG won possession back from a half court press and countered swiftly leaving Matt Blood at the top of the D to finish with a chipped back hand effort over the oncoming goalie. The defence held firm for the last 10 minutes and the win was secured. Hopefully the first of many in which the team are looking to return to the London Premier League.

Match Report:
The Badgers knocked up a very confident win against Crowborough, with lots of excellent performances – Charlie Firmin starred in the first half with a very able level of input before injury, and Rhys Page scored perhaps one of the best goals of the season with an absolute rocket from the edge of the D.
Players swapped positions which meant some of the forwards put a stint in as defenders, Captain Charlie Lewis bagged 2 goals from a period as a winger.

U16B 4-5 Marden Russets U16B
Match Report:
After two tight games against Marden last season, this was expected to be a tight affair, which it was. We had a debutant in Felix playing his first game in EG colours and he put in a sterling effort.
Credit goes to the boys for a very attack-minded approach but we know that we should be defending better so we do not ship so many goals.
Seb Walton and Josh Barratt created good opportunities and we could have easily won this game with more finish to our play. Congratulations to Ned Rowland, Will Blenkinsop and Tomasz Morris for their unselfish play throughout the whole game.
