Sunday 11th November will see East Grinstead welcome Wimbledon to Saint Hill for a Cup & League double header.

The Ladies play their opening game in this years EH Tier 1 Cup Competition.

In the Men's league fixture last season EG ran out 3-1 winners thanks to goals from EG's No. 11 David Condon, a strike from Liam Ansell and a Drag-Flick from captain Simon Faulkner. This was EG's first win against Wimbledon in a long while, so it was great for them to break the 'hoodoo' against Wimbledon. Wimbledon's defeat at Saint Hill came during their poor start to the season, which saw them with only 2 points after the first 5 games. However their defeat to EG proved to be a turning point, with Wimbledon not losing a single game after that point and winning the league, while securing an EHL place. They lost to 4th place Hampstead & Westminster in the play-offs and are looking to put things right this season. They have many current and past internationals in their side and will be looking to take 3 points back from Saint Hill. This will be a high quality game, with fans guaranteed to be excited by the hockey on show.

Pushback will be at 1pm for the Ladies, with Men starting at 3pm. Home matches are ticketed for adults and U18s go free. There will be a 10 minute Half-Time break in which kids are encouraged to use the pitch to practice and shoot at goal. The supporters are encouraged to ask their favourite players for their autographs after the match as they are leaving the pitch. We would like to wish all supporters a warm welcome at Saint Hill and hope you enjoy the match!
