Starting on Monday 25th of April, the summer term will run until Sunday the 10th of July. We will take a 1-week half-term break from Monday 30th of May till Sunday 5th of June (inclusive) That means there will be 10 weeks of hockey! In the sun! YAY!

How much will it cost?

Kids in school Years Reception, Year 1, 2 & 3 will have 1 session per week, which will cost £50 for the whole term

Kids in school Years 4+ will have access to up to 3 sessions per week, which will cost £110 for the whole term

When & where will training be?

You can come to any or all of the sessions relevant to your age (based on current school year) Please use these tables to confirm when & where your sessions are:

What will the sessions include?

Our coaches are putting together a scheme of work for the 10 weeks of hockey. Our intention is to run through a week or two focusing on each of the core elements of hockey, delivered through mainly game play related exercises and taking the opportunity of warm weather to practice some more static skills like penalties and free hit methods.

Who will coach the sessions?

We have arranged and budgeted for each session to be resourced with at least 2 professional coaches. They will be supported by a range of our amazing volunteer coaches as usual. The breakdown of professional coaches allocated to the sessions is also in the attached and they will be responsible for the session plan and delivery.

There is a small chance the coaching schedule will change, a little, but not much.

What about goalies?

We will be running at least one, likely two goalie specific sessions per week. We will get you details of this separately. You don't need to pay or anything yet as we will be working out something special for keepers.

Will there be any matches?

We hope so! Some other clubs are running in this term and we will be working with them to try and arrange matches. We also know of an academy who would like to play some matches.

Matches are likely to carry a small fee. The pitch at East Grinstead costs us £40 per hour to rent, and school pitches are more like £60 per hour. We haven't built the cost of renting these for matches into the training fees so we might ask that teams playing matches make a small contribution each to cover the cost of the pitch.

What if I'm new?

We will communicate with you separately but WELCOME! We recommend new players come along to a few session to make sure they like it before paying, but otherwise the rest of the above is relevant for you too.

If we haven't contacted you and you would like to come and join our summer program, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for details on how to register.
