The Men's 2nd XI want to make a difference during this pandemic and aim to raise £1,500 by taking part in Movember.

One of the highlights of the Men's 2s fundraising effort was the Movember Pub Quiz which raised just over £120. Luke Leman, Benedict Smith, Wes Jackson and Jordan Torrilla all hosted a round each with many of the participants showcasing their impressive knowledge about EGHC, Movies, Music and Current Affairs.

We are so close to our target of £1,500 and appreciate any further donations via the following link: https://uk.movember.com/mospace/14347738?utm_medium=app&utm_source=ios&utm_campaign=share-mospace

Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's suicide. Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are 'toughing it out', keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence, especially in the current climate. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and we want to help them get there.

Help us stop men dying too young.
