Lily started playing hockey at the age of 6, at her first club; Cannock Hockey Club. Lily remained at Cannock Hockey Club for 10 years, and attributes her progression to those important early years; "I wouldn’t be where I am today without them".

Growing up Lily attended Five Ways Primary School, Kingsmead School and Repton, before joining the University of Birmingham to study Social Policy. During all of these years, she represented England u16, u18 and u21. Lily had made each age group squad ahead of her years and her determination to do so has continued as Lily now represents England and Great Britain as senior level, gaining her first senior England caps in April 2022 and GB caps in April 2023. A very impressive, speedy midfielder, you won't want to miss Lily on the pitch as she is sure to bring flare and excitement to the Womens 1s this season.

Lily's love for hockey is based on being in a team environment - all working towards one goal. She also hugely values being able to have fun and make amazing memories alongside friends and teammates.

Lily is looking forward to her first season at EG. She comments "after the team had such a successful previous season winning the league, it would be great to win it back to back. Overall, I’m looking forward to joining a club with amazing history and passion for the sport."
