Sunday in Milan saw EG Ladies 1st team play their final Group Game in the Eurohockey vs HC Olten from Switzerland. With one eye on the final day's hockey, minutes were shared around the group and the match ended with a 3:1 win for EG. Scorers were Sophie Bray, Ellie Rayer and Autumn Bowden.
Highlights from the game were the first 20 seconds when EG opened the scoring from a corner deflection by Bray, an amazing goal from a very tight angle by Rayer and two phenomenal saves by Izzy Field in goal. Eliza Wheeler picked up an injury which will be assessed today and overall the team is positive headed into the final game of the weekend.
