Bumper weekend across the club!

What a truly fantastic weekend of hockey for the whole club!

We kicked things off on Friday evening with an outstanding turnout for our Ministars and Talent Development Academy indoor training sessions – a brilliant way to start the weekend and great to see so much enthusiasm on show.

Saturday certainly didn't disappoint either, with 8 out of our 9 adult teams winning their Southeast league matches – an exceptional achievement. 

A special mention to our Women's section, who did not concede a single goal across their fixtures. An incredible defensive display!

Sunday then brought a moment of club history. For the first time in 27 years, an English club secured a medal in the EuroHockey Indoor Tier 1 Club Cup – and it was our very own East Grinstead Women's 1s who made it happen! A superb 6–2 victory against Mannheimer HC secured a bronze medal – a phenomenal achievement at the very highest level of European indoor hockey.

Huge congratulations as well to Biba Mills, who finished as the second highest goal scorer in the competition with an incredible 13 goals.

To round off the weekend, our U10 and U12 teams competed in the In2Hockey tournament at Hurst College. We are delighted to share that all teams have qualified for the Regional Finals – a fantastic achievement and a testament to the hard work of our players and coaches.

Congratulations to everyone involved – players, coaches, officials, volunteers, and supporters. Weekends like this reflect the strength, spirit, and success of our entire club.

Just a quick reminder that Junior training resumes this week at the normal times.
