Starting on Saturday 8th January for two weekends, the England Hockey Indoor Super 6s will take place, with teams battling for the opportunity to play in the Semis and Final at the Copper Box on January 30th...
Indoor hockey is part of the DNA of East Grinstead Hockey club with a legacy going back to 1983 when our Men first won the National Indoor Title. In fact EG men have won the title 14 times in total with our Ladies recently getting in on the action with wins in 2016 and 2019. Furthermore, in the two years the Ladies have won, East Grinstead did the double with both Men and Women winning on the same day. This is a feat that had not been achieved since 1984 when Slough Men and Women did the double.
With the action taking place at venues across the country, the easiest way to keep track of EG's progress is via England Hockey's "altius" system.

Just before each game begins, we will post links on Twitter. Stay tuned and support the two teams.
Winners are Grinners #2
An equally dramatic final went to penalty shuffles thanks to an open play equaliser three minutes from time by Ashley Jackson. EG scored three from three in the shuffles with Tijn van Groesen, Captain Simon Faulkner and Ashley Jackson on target to secure the win over Surbiton.
