IN MEMORY AND CELEBRATION OF JOY LEMAN

JoyLeman Joy Leman

It is with great sadness that Joy Leman passed away on Wednesday 11 November, aged 90.

Joy was a much-loved wife to Dennis, a much-loved mum to John, Michael, Richard and James as well as daughters-in-law Jane, Sue and Julie. Joy was also a much-loved grandma to Lucy, Luke, James, Sebastian, Leo, Vicky, Tom, Mabyn, Alex, Thea and great grandma to Mila and Calina.

As most of you will know, it was Dennis and Joy that bought the land at Saint Hill, a club that we all love to call our home. Joy was an active member of the club and part of the original team that laid on the teas in the old club house affectionately known to us as the 'upturned boat'. Joy's love of hockey was matched by her love of golf. Joy Captained the Ladies at Copthorne Golf Club as well as Sussex Ladies.

To the Leman family we send our sincerest condolences. To Joy and Dennis we will always be thankful for the greatest of gifts. The hockey club has provided many of us with great experiences and memories and will continue to do so.

With love and thanks from everyone at EGHC.
