Following last season's experiment streaming our home match against University of Birmingham, we are looking to increase our streaming output and provide access to top quality English Premier League Hockey live and on-demand through our YouTube Channel.  With Britain's most medalled female field hockey player - Laura Unsworth, fellow Rio Gold medallist and EG Captain, Sophie Bray and Tokyo Bronze medallist Ellie Rayer in the squad there is much to be optimistic about.  The quality of hockey on show should provide spectacle for all levels with sever l new signings and representation from several corners of the earth.  We can't wait for the return of GB colleague Tessa Howard as she recovers from knee surgery.

Joining East Grinstead over the summer are several players who will add further quality.  Gualalupe Fernandez Lacort joins EG from University of Michigan in the United States where she studied for four years and of course brings incredible experience having won the U21 World Cup in 2016 in Chile, playing for Argentina.

Jo Westwood joins her Wales team mate Hannah Cozens, bringing additional Senior International experience.  From Malaysia we welcome the return of Noni - Nuraini Binti Abd Rashid who played for EG in the 2019/2020 Season.  This year she brings team-mate Jay - Fatin Shafika Binti Mahd Sukri from Malaysia and the two of them will bring flair and focus to the squad.

We are delighetd to welcome home Alexandra Malzer who has spent three years away at Nottingham University.  Since she last played for EG she also gained full GB caps and we are excited to see her back in blue and white.  Robyn Bentley also returns to EG following Nottingham University and having gained experience with England U18s.  Mila Welch also joins EG in gap year from Nottingham University and brings England U18 goalkeeping experience.

Also central to the team are Jojo Davis, a former Barbados international, Pippa Chapman a former South African international, Bridget Blackwood with over 50 caps for New Zealand and of course "Irish" - Chloe Brown.
